Prefix all IC channel names (e.g. #rp-town-square) and OOC channels (e.g. #ooc-general). Many servers also use Tupperbox — a bot that lets you post as your character with a custom name and avatar.
Create a dedicated #lore channel or section that is read-only for regular members. Pin lore documents and update them as the story evolves. Some servers use Google Docs for detailed world-building and link from Discord.
Tupperbox is the most RP-specific bot — it lets members post as their characters. Dice Maiden handles tabletop mechanics. Carl-bot handles everything else (roles, logging, auto-mod).
